It completely depends on your store but this sounds completely normal to me. I've never seen more than 3 people working after 6 at my store, and 2 people closed aren't unheard of. 4-6 people is the usual number of people working during the day when we're most busy, there would be no work for anyone to do if we had that many people past 6.
