pumps / shots for cold and hot drinks? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by aAtpne2i
Can someone please go over the espresso shots for cold/hot drinks/ americanos and other speciality espresso drinks that require a different number pattern? And how many pumps of what go into an iced coffee? A cold brew? Which ones get cream? How many Matcha scoops? Like I fr feel I don’t know how to make shit, as all my shifts are DTO/W upfront.

Sincerely a frustrated green bean.

shots:

hot drinks: 1/2/2
cold drinks: 1/2/3
americanos: 2/3/4 (just an extra shot)
flat whites: 2/3/3 (extra shot, also ristretto)

americanos (it’s the same for hot and iced):

T- 2

G-3

V- 4

Pumps of stuff in iced coffee:
HOT BAR (full dose) PUMPS!

T- 3

G- 4

V- 5

T- 6

Cold Brew:

Same but COLD BAR (half dose) pumps.

Only get cream upon request, it’s not default in any EXCEPT vanilla sweet cream cold brew which gets topped with sweet cream and honey almond milk cold brew that gets topped with almond milk.

Matcha scoops:

T- 2

G-3

V- 4

Dont forget the matcha frap gets 1/2/3 pumps of classic!!! But not in hot or iced matcha drinks!

If I missed something or might be wrong (pumps can be confusing sometimes, I’ve been wrong before) I’m sure someone will chime in!

Edit: matcha is 2/3/4

I’m crying thank u so much 😪 this was brushed over so quickly in training and I feel like a nuisance of a partner :/

No problem. Your store should also have recipe cards somewhere you can study!! Or you can find them on the iPad if you’re ever unsure and don’t want to ask someone!

It’s just so fast paced, and no one seems to have the time to explain.

Unfortunately I get that. We never get enough labor or time to really teach the new hires, and they just get thrown into it. I wish it were different, because it’s so much information and I feel bad for new hires.

Strawberry frap classic pumps are 1/2/2 correct? I thought it was 1/2/2 for any hot bar syrup in a frap(in reference to matcha frap pumps)?
[deleted] 1 points 2y ago
Matcha and strawberry are different! That is strawberry but matcha is 2/3/4 sorry! Not 1/2/3. Why are they different? No idea lol

Wait I’m confused now. Matcha lattes both hot and iced plus fraps are 2/3/4 scoops. I think you’re right about classic pumps. I don’t make a lot of matcha fraps so idk and recipes have changed so many times I barely can keep up (214****).

So strawberry fraps get 1/2/2 pumps classic but matcha fraps gets 2/3/4 scoops AND pumps of classic (not that it needs anymore sugar lol)
