Store Manager Salary Negotiation (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by dc8293
Hello! I am preparing for a Store Manager Panel interview and I want to go into it with an ideal salary in mind.

Any store managers willing to share with me what your starting salary was?
How many years of management experience did you have prior to getting the job?
How long had you been with Starbucks?
What was your highest education level at the time of hire?
What part of the country do you live in?

Thank you!! 😊

You probably won’t find many people sharing salary information in a comment, but a good place to start would be glassdoor.com. That’ll at least give you a little base to start with.
As far as everything else, I started with Starbucks in 2002, worked for two years, left the company and came back in 2019 as a SM. I worked for TWDC for six years in a Leadership role, and worked for a southern coffee company for two years as an ASM. I haven’t finished college, and probably won’t at my age (37), and I live in South Florida.

Yea, I kinda figured it’d be a long shot. I guess I was kind of hoping with the anonymity of Reddit maybe someone would feel comfortable sharing 😅 I’ve looked on Glassdoor and Payscale and there seems to be a pretty broad range of salaries reported. I’m trying to get a better idea of what I can realistically advocate for with my level of experience.
