Is back this. I’m a 136xxxx that started the program on two different occasions and had to put it in the back burner both times, and never completed it. I’ve been away from the company, and am starting back in a week, and would love to make the third time the charm, so to speak.

You can do the coffee academy 100, 200 and 300 level courses and your tastings and get black aprons

Yeah right, I don’t even have time to not make a decaf pour over as a decaf americano. Would be cool though.

I asked my SM about the Coffee Mastery program and he suggested the Coffee Academy. I finished it a few weeks ago and handed him the completion certificates and he ordered me a black apron. It’ll take a little while because I think it gets embroidered.
Review on the Coffee Academy: I’ve been studying coffee pretty seriously for the last 6-8 years or so and there was still some great info in the course that I hadn’t learned anywhere else. I really enjoyed it. There’s some interesting modules about where Starbucks sources coffee and how they contribute to farms and farmer equity. I recommend to any partner who’s serious about coffee.

Per a weekly update a few months ago, the Coffee Master program is only available to licensed stores, which makes no sense to me. I really hope they bring it back to corporate owned stores!

Ahhhh this makes my heart so sad. That program was so much fun. I’m just mad at myself that I didn’t grab a black apron when I could.
