Manstrena II Question (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Anthonythebarista
Hey guys my store just recently got the new espresso machines and we are having a problem where the grounds drawer keeps getting water in it, I am making sure it is dry before I put everything back together, have any of you had this problem and if so how can I fix it ?
Thank you

i think this is normal because it now does an internal rinse and the water is actually poured into the grinds drawer. just means you have to empty it more often because grinds get stuck in the bottom

Our machines do that as well, mainly after the nightly tablet run. Seems to be normal though. We have mentioned it to our maintenance worker and he didn't say anything about it being an issue.

We had that problem frequently, our tech said you still have to hit the rinse button once in awhile or the water gets backed up and overflows into the grounds drawer. Just hit rinse every so often and you’ll be good.

When we first got ours, we had quite a bit of water in the grounds drawer (like a quarterof an inch of water). We called it in and now there's just a little bit more than the old ones had.

Our machines do it too, one more than the other. It should be fine
