Just got an accepted my formal offer of employment from Starbucks and I start on Saturday! I’m excited!
I worked in a kiosk in a Vons(supermarket chain) before so I wasn’t hired by Starbucks and I know the environment is pretty different but I enjoyed it then and I’m really looking forward to this!

Why do you say it’s a hell hole? Other than the stress related with fast paced work and dealing with a handful of undelightful customers

Hey if you have a passion for the job then the pros usually outweigh the cons, and that’s in any career. I look back at my 4+ years as a Starbucks Partner with (mostly) fondness and do miss it despite the stress of the job. Congratulations on your new job and good luck!
