oh yikes i was hoping they’d give us a bigger container of it. i knew we were getting the barista oatly but i buy it for coffee at home and it goes quick. that’s gonna be annoying
rio8envy7 35 points 2y ago
You can probably fit more than 3 in a fridge though. They also could be giving us small bottles to see how it sells. The almond milk used to be in small containers too.
AvoFromCado 18 points 2y ago
We fit 5 in a fridge at one time ☺️
Silly_Goose2 6 points 2y ago
We now do twelve (three rows of four), especially with the advertising for the Honey Oat Latte. It's a little ridiculous how we can only get two grandes out of one carton.
AvoFromCado 1 points 2y ago
Yeah the tiny containers are ridiculous. I guess it doesn’t really bother our store bc we don’t go through that much
rio8envy7 2 points 2y ago
That’s not too bad.
oftbkk 15 points 2y ago
i know the barista oatly is sold in stores but only in this size so i’m sure it won’t size up but maybe
rio8envy7 9 points 2y ago
It’s also not Starbucks brand like the other alternative milks are so you could be right.
steelclaymore13 1 points 2y ago
4 to a fridge, 5 if you're feeling frisky. It's super annoying though, sorry
Elliotisnotokay 1 points 2y ago
In my region we get bigger ones. Also a different brand tho
rio8envy7 25 points 2y ago
Ngl thought the container would be bigger.
drowninginristretto 8 points 2y ago
Nope I think there’s 12 in a case instead of 8... so they’re small
rio8envy7 3 points 2y ago
Oof. Do you go through them quickly? Any suggestions for keeping up with stock for orders? We’re getting it in March and I’m just trying to think ahead so we don’t run into any issues.
drowninginristretto 2 points 2y ago
You can fit 4-5 in each fridge (in a row) and just have a couple on the floor in the backups area.
rio8envy7 2 points 2y ago
Thank you.

The barista blend containers are this size, and it's roughly a trenta (for markouts) and will not curdle when introduced to heat like the regular one. It's best with Chai, and in other Iced drinks and takes on flavors really well.

How's the texture of it? Every oatmilk I've tried has had an AWFUL texture, been thick and almost soupy a little slimy almost and just 😖 IDK how to describe it tbh lol
patrickm421 [OP] 17 points 2y ago
Texture is really good, always preferred Oatly bc it has a very similar texture to milk. Not nearly as thick as a lot of other oat milks.
plushiequeenaspen 2 points 2y ago
Sounds like it might be worth a try :)
greyplains 6 points 2y ago
As with all alternative milks, a robust shake to agitate everything because of natural separation is needed. But the oatly milk once steamed is soooo silky.
gabbysafari 10 points 2y ago
i so wish they were the same size as the other nondairy milks. they only last like 2-3 venti drinks, max. the plus side is that they have the screw off lif instead of the stupid lids the other nondairys have!
wingedhunter1 2 points 2y ago
recently we had a whole box of almond milks and the lids would come completely off it was infuriating
chinfox 4 points 2y ago
so close.... i can almost taste it....
ABVDRICEBV 3 points 2y ago
I’m so excited for you! It’s a game changer because it’s flavor profile is much more appealing/subtle than the other alternatives.
asilva0622 3 points 2y ago
Just got ours in central Florida last night.
MahNellie 2 points 2y ago
Still waiting to get ours, it was chaos when it hit on the mobile app and we didn’t have it.

BlueMuffins92 1 points 2y ago
Has it taken over your milk alternatives yet?! I have a feeling we’re guna be selling mostly oatmilk after launch!
patrickm421 [OP] 1 points 2y ago
I think it will eventually, people are slowly finding out since we haven't really been advertising for it yet!
dpickles99 1 points 2y ago

Carbs in the oaty milk?
the1noir 1 points 2y ago
16gm for a cup I think
Baristababie97 0 points 2y ago
Maybe we can combine a couple of them into a sweet cream pitcher for peak
blueeeeeberry 5 points 2y ago
I work in LA county (so clearly we get lots of people asking for oat and other alt milks) and it’s never an issue with the container they are in :) you shouldn’t need to do the pitcher idea but that’s totally up to you and your store!
the1noir 2 points 2y ago
That’s.. not a bad idea. Gonna bring this up w/ my sm
