my training was only 5 days but after learning customer support i did register training, and then drive through, then bar and the last day was cold bar!

customer support is a great starting point but i wouldn’t consider it a ‘newbie task’! it’s a super crucial position to helping support all of your baristas 💕
-you’ll probably learn pos (Point of Sale, aka the register) next, so you’ll be ringing up customers and getting to know the computers! it takes awhile to get used to because there’s soo many buttons, but don’t stress yourself!
-if you have a drive thru, DTO (Drive Thru Order) will go alongside POS training, where you’ll be taking orders over the headset.
-you’ll also learn warming, aka the ovens! this is the food area, you’ll be dealing with breakfast sandwiches, wraps, paninis, and pastries!
-From there, hopefully your team can get you some bar time! getting here depends on how busy your store is and if they are able to set aside the time to teach you.

Say no if a fellow partner snickers and offers you an espresso brownie....! 😜😇

My trainer didn’t really train me well but my coworkers helped me out. You’ll be fine. You’ll probably learn DTR when you cover DTO.
