How do you feel about having to remake mobile orders for a customer that clearly sent it to the wrong store? Should they be entitled to a free remake on the spot, or should negligence have its consequences? (self.starbucksbaristas)

This happens extremely frequently to us too. Usually we’ll say “oh that’s the store near *stores*, we’re *address*” and they’ll be like oh. Usually they leave, but if they don’t we’ll offer to remake. I’d say at least 70% of the time they’ll leave before we offer or they’ll decline

What annoys me more is when they mobile order their own drink wrong :^)

That’s crazy that they usually just drive away. I like that they’re rational about it. Most of the customers at my store kind of just stay there or ask us to make it for them..I’m in Orange Country though so we have an above average group of entitled customers lol

Oh bro rip. I feel that, my first store was in a more affluent area but nowhere near what you’d find in OC

I work in OC too. I agree our customers are not rational and are super entitled

We ask to see a receipt to verify that they actually ordered it. If they don’t have one we don’t remake it.

We always remake it on the spot. It's easy to do

If it’s 1 or 2 drinks and they can show the receipt for proof of purchase, I have no problem making it if we’re not slammed. If we are slammed, then usually we ask them to go to the store their order was sent to.
