Struggling with register (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’ve been working at a Safeway Starbucks for a total of two days now, with one of those days being register. My manager didn’t really explicitly explain when I would use the options “add caramel drizzle” and so on and so forth. If someone were to order a venti iced caramel macchiato would I add anything to the order? Any pointers are appreciated! Thank you !

If someone ordered a venti caramel macchiato you would just put that in. If they make any modifications add those. If they order a drink that doesn’t have caramel drizzle normally, you would use the caramel drizzle button. Or if someone wants extra caramel drizzle on a drink that already has caramel drizzle by default, you would hit “extra” and then caramel drizzle. Hopefully that wasn’t confusing lol

On my pos system I don’t seem to have an “extra” button which has been super confusing for me

When they ask for extra caramel drizzle in the cup, hit the “add caramel sauce” option. I’ve worked at an Albertsons Starbucks for a year. Hopefully its the same pos system
