I just finished my training yesterday and honestly I went into it thinking it was going to be an utter nightmare.
Instead, I find myself excelling at the bar and even in DTO! And I know it's due to my trainer being extremely capable at teaching and guiding me through the process.
I want to show my appreciation and I've heard about the little green apron cards but I wasn't sure if those are a *real* thing or if instead I should get her a small pin or button she might like.
What's the best way to show appreciation for your coworkers?

Definitely ask your SM to order the green apron cards, they may even have some set aside.
If you do end up getting a pin for them, Amazon sells these little coffee bean enamel pins, one of my trainees got me one and it is the most precious thing.

The green apron cards are real. Getting her a small pin might be nice too but even just giving her the card shows how much you appreciate her.

Ask your manager to order green apron cards! Even if your store doesn't have the envelopes for partners to store them in. If that would take longer than you'd like, a button or pin from starbuckscoffeegear.com is a wonderful and thoughtful idea as well :)
