Hey SSVs, how do you guys rotate partners? I’ve recently been rehired in a completely different environment (city to suburbs) and I’ve been a cashier everyday for about two weeks now; In my old store; I was the strongest bar hand but in this store; I’m looked at as a green bean.

I try to rotate a lot. It’s really up to whoever your shift is. Try to nicely ask if you can move around and maybe they just didn’t even realize you wanted to. Unfortunately, if you’re really good on register, I’d be happy to have you there too so you can boost customer connection lol

reasons i try not to customer connect ONLY when i’m on reg so no one wants to leave me there 😭

As a shift I try to rotate every 1-2 hours, in the colder months with such high winds, such as where I am, I try to rotate the DTR partner at least every 30 minutes.
