Honestly, most of the time we are afraid of retaliation from the customer. Yes, we should feel safe pressing charges or trespassing violent customers, but they can’t prevent the customer from retaliating off SBux property, short of getting a restraining order which takes at least two weeks to get.

I know most managers are dirtbags, but if the workforce is so pussywhipped and downtrodden that they won't even ask a violent guy to leave the store, I don't know what else I can say here ppl

I agree, but again, as a woman, we’re terrified that said violent guy will retaliate against us. It’s happened before. In the moment, it’s just easier to try and de-escalate the situation by getting them their order and getting them out as quickly as possible.
