At least take the option off hot drinks on mobile.

I think our core beverages with cold foam are really great, and I understand the temptation to put cold foam on other drinks. It’s sweet and creamy while having a light, fluffy texture that gives a sweet injection to every sip. I have a few things that irk me though.

1) putting it on a hot drink is pointless. It’s going to melt. Use whipped cream or just have us pour regular sweet cream in

2) IF THEY USE A STRAW TO DRINK IT WHAT IS THE POINT OF ME FOAMING THE SWEET CREAM UP??? It’s all about texture and that sipping structure. Then, they have the audacity to just stir it all in? Bruh. Again, just have me pour sweet cream into your drink.

3) It has become every drink and every modification. Iced coffees, lattes, mochas, matchas, pink drinks, iced espressos. These drinks are wildly expensive, and drunken on a daily basis is just so unhealthy.

TL;DR I get it. Cold foam’s good, but customers have brought me to hate it by making it a part of everything.

Especially that iced white mocha drink. I don’t get how people can drink it since it’s so sweet already. I once had some chick order the iced white mocha TikTok drink with extra white mocha. I was shocked.

It’s gross and disturbing.

Yesterday I served someone a venti strawberry acai, with s.c cold foam, no inclusions, instead mocha drizzle. I was curious if she had ordered it before and was "connecting" and dead pan stared into her eyes as I accidentally put caramel drizzle all over the top... didn't even think of my mistake till 15minutes later

my drink is a venti iced chai w almondmilk and cinnamon almondmilk cold foam (i love the extra cinnamon with my already cinnamon-y chai) and i feel bad ordering it but it’s so so good. but i can’t get behind the matcha or strawberry cold foam 🤧🤧lowkey can’t imagine anything worse than that

Today one of the borrowed partners at my store asked this girl if she wanted whip on top of the foam for her extra caramel iced white mocha and I about lost my shit.
The girl didn’t even know it could still come with whipped cream, so we now have this as what I assume will be a regular order.

Keep the crazy customizations to yourself. I know they’re probably really good and you’re probably super excited about it, but people don’t need to know. Tell your fellow partners, tell your family and close friends. But please, for the love of anything good in this world, do not tell random customers. I do not need people coming in, telling me that I actually CAN do this thing that I specifically told them I couldn’t.

Also, yesterday my bar partner was really done with it and we had 3 minutes left, we got 3 cars in a row with the white mocha extra drizzle foam drink, and a strawberry cream with no classic, vanilla bean, matcha powder, oatmilk, blah blah blah...

I’ve been getting so nauseous making these drinks, thinking about all the sugar in them. And there’s so many steps. People don’t understand what they’re asking for

bruh last night this girl came in five mins before close and ordered 8 venti drinks and they were all variations of cold foam on refreshers/refresher lemonades

How would I make cold foam at home? It’s the most delicious thing in the world to me on black iced coffee but I’d gladly make it myself if I knew how ❤️☕️

Yeah, what I don't like about it is how goddamn hard it is to ring up as it's not a goddamn menu item.

Also, some of the invented drinks are not safe to drink. I had a teenager order a lemonade drink with heavy cream or some type of dairy milk. My shift supervisor told them that the citric acid in the lemonade could make the milk curdle. The teenager asked what 'curdle' means. After my shift supervisor explained that it means "go bad," the teenager insisted on ordering the drink.

I personally like the vsc cold foam on my iced white mochas because I don’t like the whip cream at Starbucks. Its a nice substitute for the whip for me. But some of the drinks I have seen people come up with are pretty wild. Lol

So I had a customer order a Mango dragonfruit with lemonade, kiwi inclusions, kiwi base, 16 pumps of Classic and VSC. Like...why?! For what?!?!

Side note - I freaking LOVE the salted caramel cream cold brew. It is literally my favorite thing on the entire menu ! Thank you for putting cold foam on it. It literally makes me so happy once a week !!

Honestly it doesn’t bug me that much. Plus there are some interesting and tasty combinations that be done with VSC

On the bright side it’s a substantial up charge per drink (isn’t it like a buck?) and easy to make. Let customers keep ordering and adding it to everything under the sun...make those $$

Why does it matter? You get paid to make these drinks if you don’t like it then quit? I think it’s cool to see all of the combos and new drinks people come up with. Does it really matter?

You have a barista attitude issue my dude. Let people enjoy their drinks.
