The other stuff, if its regularly and not weather induced, yeah thats shitty. But if it is because of snow, especially if you're in an area not equipped for it, I can't get mad at drivers not risking their lives for coffee. Hell, we get snow in New Jersey but February has been a bit rough on us and we are equipped. I can't imagine the south rn.

This is a bad take, tbh. I had to read it 2x to make sure I wasn’t interpreting this wrong. You are upset because your DM wants to protect people on the roads? You do realize that many states have several inches of snow and not enough snow plows or resources to clear roads right? We have over 18” on the ground in Arkansas and not enough snow plows/resources to keep up with the roads. There are 18-wheelers in ditches and in pile ups across many states right now. I applaud your DM for actually thinking about those on the roads.
