As former barista, I totally feel for you guys and have not and probably won’t order this drink because of the clear menace feeling you all carry towards it. But at the same time, stop hating on customers for having fun and trying new drinks, or finding something they like. Your problems are against corporate and your managers for poor scheduling and payment, otherwise you wouldn’t care. It takes the same effort to make as a salted cream cold foam cold brew or a mocha cookie crumble frap. Maybe the mods should start banning hate posts on people ordering this drink, for the other random tiktok drinks it’s justified but this drink isn’t such a big deal and people are overpaying for something so cheap to make, so they’re getting bit in the ass too. Just my thoughts.

Honestly, no hate because you’re not necessarily wrong. But it’s not the same as making a cold foam cold brew or a frappuccino. The problem with the iced white mocha with vanilla sweet cream cold foam and extra caramel drizzle is this: it’s taking up time on both bars so that it is taking longer for both bars to move on to the next drink. The shots you have to pull, especially for a venti as it’s 3, take up time on hot bar, and the cold foam takes up time on cold bar as you have to use a blender for it. Some places like busy tarbucks, as well as ones in Kroger’s, only have one person there sometimes and again takes even longer than a store with a person stationed at each bar. So yes, it’s not that hard of a drink and more of an annoyance for the baristas who have more a hate for tik tok baristas, I’d say, that started all the craziness. But also a little annoyance because it’s taking time on both bars not just one. However, I’m also upset that there are a lot of people that don’t realize how much sugar it is 😭. And do they realize how expensive it is for all that sugar? I would care, but I guess that’s their prerogative.

Also I’m sorry if you don’t like to hear this stuff, but if that’s the case I’m not sure this subreddit is your taste. It’s a place for barista’s to vent in any way they need to, because sometimes you need to blurt out your negative feelings to get over em.

Same with caramel ribbon crunches for some reason. About 1/3 of all orders are a caramel ribbon crunch despite the weather the past couple of weeks was brutally cold. Is the caramel ribbon crunch being heavily advertised on cable television? If so, now is not the time of year to be promoting frozen drinks. I know people who ended up with hypothermia from drinking cold water in winter despite wearing warm clothing.

Caramel ribbon crunch frappe are literally every other order! We’ve got this one woman who comes through who is INFURIATING! She gets a grande one and adds all this extra crap to it with extra ice and if it’s the tiniest bit liquidy then she will be have us remake it and sit there twisting the cup back and forth saying I GET THIS ALL THE TIME ITS NOT SUPPOSE TO LOOK LIKE THIS 🙄 her daughter is also annoying she comes through just about every day and gets a trenta strawberry açaí with no ice no water no strawberries along with two or three cups of trenta ice it’s like WHY!?!?!?

I've had people order strawberry refreshers like that too. It's to scam us out of nearly a whole carton of strawberry refresher for the price of a 30 oz refresher.

We go through so much morecream now to keep making the sweet cream. We had to buy out our local grocery store’s stock of cream. Its bad here, y’all. Sweet cream foam on EVERYTHING
