Today a barista dropped a set of egg bites on the counter inside the drive-thru window and asked me to remake them. About two minutes later they’re like, “Yeah she actually took those egg bites anyway. She said she’d give them to her son because it would be wasteful to throw them away. She even saw me pick them up with my bare hands.” My soul almost left my body on the spot. Please never serve a customer with food that has been on an unsanitary surface or that you have touched with your bare hands. Side note, who gives their child food that has been on the counter in a drive-thru window 🤢🤮

Oh my god that's so gross. That should've been a firm "No" when the customer asked!!! Yuck.

‘I don’t care about my child enough to see that it’s pretty unsanitary to give them food that was on your countertops and in your bare hands *DURING A PANDEMIC*.’

Maybe her “son” is a dog.....? Please dear god. Tell me it’s a dog.
