ASU Question. (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by InvestmentMuch7643
Hey so I was considering going to ASU online but i’m already at a community college and i have FASFA with them. Is there a way they transfer credits to ASU? And if i were to transfer is it worth it?

hi! i just stated asu this semester and so far it’s great! i had gone to one year of college previously and the credits do transfer, you just have to pay to have a copy sent over to asu. and for the fafsa, just log into the website and edit your fafsa to add a school! it’s not hard at all. i would recommend 2 classes every 6 week semester cause then it’s really manageable but you’re still working towards completion! they will assign you a coach who will reach out and help with any questions you have that’s very helpful. and immediately after you finish a semester, they add the cost of tuition directly to your paycheck. it’s a great program!

it was a university, i’m pretty sure it works either way though! good luck :) :)

I think the best way to get an accurate and precise answer would be to ask either the "coach" that Starbucks offers to learn more about the ASU program they have or to ask the admissions people at ASU through their website, email, or phone (what I would do). I believe your FAFSA should transfer but your credits are a bit iffy. It depends on the school and the classes but ultimately ASU would have the final word on whether or not they would accept them

Yeah that's the smart move. I honestly have not been in the same situation but if someone has and they see your post I am sure they'll offer some answers that would better suffice than mine haha
