If your store closes you won’t lose your job they’ll just transfer you. That’s what happened with me.

I understand your fear. There are LOTS of stores that are performing remarkably right now that are keeping this ship afloat (and well above the waterline I might add), and sales goals aren’t the only thing you’d SM is aiming for. Controllable contribution is one of the biggest factors that the company considers when looking at a stores performance. Yes a chunk of that is coming from sales, but also what is being spent. So it’s fairly easy to manipulate that percentage in your favor. And Starbucks is great about placing you in another store, offering separation packages, etc. if something were to happen to your store. We’ve opened no less than three stores in my area, one in my district, since all of this started, so have no fear. Despite how your store might be performing, the company is doing well right now. It may be just a bit of high volume to low volume blues. :)
