I legit had someone ask me what was in the honey almond cold brew today. I was like “...honey, almond milk and cold brew...?”
She then followed up by saying she wasn’t sure if there was a sweetener or anything in there. “Ummm... there’s the honey?”

Someone ordered a venti vanilla iced coffee with no classic. Our vanilla was outside the syrup stand for making whips, and while i was pumping the vanilla in and she was paying, she looked me in the eyes and said "I didnt want classic..." so i retorted, "Yes maam i heard you order. This is vanilla."

Had a customer ask for a banana nut loaf “NOT WARMED”, after I rang her up, I stepped aside to place her loaf in a bag, and I heard the loudest yell from the register “I SAID NOT WARMED”, to which I quickly responded in the same level but nicest tone “ YoU aRe CoRrEcT MaM, i Am PuTtiNg iT iN a BaG fOr YoU.” 😬😅

😂😂😂. Someone asked me once what time we come in to make the pastries and I’m like ma’am does it look like there’s enough space in this store to be a bakery. I love when people think were the fast food place across the parking lot. Legit had a guy yesterday ask if it was the cheeseburger place.

Yooo they do that to us too. “Do YoU HaVe KeTcHuP?” No we have cream cheese, avocado spread and sriracha that’s it.
We once had someone get halfway through their order before we realized they wanted the place next door. No sir we’re not going to go next door but onion rings and bring them back for you.

Our store is at one end of a strip mall and Panda Express is at the other end, where our drive through starts. We get people alllll the time who think they’re driving through Panda. Even better, McDonalds is in the next parking lot over- as a stand alone store. And we still get people trying to order Big Macs. People just really don’t pay any attention.

Ok see here’s the thing they wanted a strawberry milkshake so were like we have fraps. They’re like ok that’s fine. I want a bacon sandwich. Asked if they wanted the double smoked bacon and they said yes. Then they tried ordering onion rings and were like sir the place you want is next door...

real talk this can be annoying but a lot of these folks just have social anxiety and don’t always process what we’re saying correctly. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt bc it can be a little stressful for some

I’m in Texas and we ran out of milks because of the cold and we had a shit tone of people still come and get upset even though we have a signs all over the speaker and doors saying ‘we are short on all product and will be open until 5pm or when we run out of milk’ and people acted like it was the end of the word. Like ma’am, you are mad because we can’t make a caramel ribbon crunch, even though we just went thru the worse freeze in 30 years with people dying because of no electricity/heat and thousands of dollars worth of home damage, some people still don’t have water, and oh also we are in a pandemic...but your mad because we don’t have whip cream or whole milk????!!!

We get people trying to customize the sandwiches all the time. I'm sorry your kid doesn't like swiss ma'am but unless you wanna buy two sandwiches so I can swap the cheddar in then move along.

I used to have customers at my old store in PA before I moved that always tried ordering saldworks which was two stores over in our shopping complex or try and order a coke or Pepsi it was a frequent thing always confused me

We used to have a lot of people asking for flavored cream cheese. I used to tell them we have strawberry we could mix in with it, or they could buy a pack of blueberries (from the oatmeal). Surprisingly no one took me up on it.
