How do I Transfer Stores? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I'm getting a lot of microaggressions from a shift leader, and my store manager refuses to do anything about it when I go to her. I've tried going to the district manager, but nothing's happened on that end. Worse, I keep getting scheduled with the aforementioned shift leader (my store has more than enough employees that it would only take a token effort on my store manager's part to keep that from happening).
I've tried asking my store manager about how to go about getting transferred, but she just tries to convince me not to. I've told her what would need to happen, but nothing seems to be going anywhere.
I like starbucks, and I don't want to quit, but if I don't get transferred then that may be my only choice.

I’d follow up with the DM. Use stronger wording. Example: Not “is it possible”, but “I need to be transferred”
Personally I’d also change my availability (if I could) to avoid this jerk.

I've tried to change my availability, but the store manager shuts me down whenever I try ("changes have to be made out six months in advance"). I'll try following up with the DM, though. I doubt anything'll change, but it's worth a shot.

I have never heard it takes 6 months to change your availability?????? I recently had to change mine for family and my manager said it would just take until the new schedule for it to change..

Lol, then I'll have to ask her to show me where it says six months. This is a store manager who has either stretched the truth about the rules before or just flat out lied about them when it suits her. Part of the reason I want to transfer, honestly.

Oh yeah my store manager makes up new rules to add too, definitely feel you on that! Her job is being threatened though because of it so 🥴
