/s My fellow brethren, y’all understand that amount of caffeine we drink is ungodly. But today, today took the cake! I went to a local coffee shop and ordered a medium nitro with moon milk(our version of vsc) with two shots of espresso. I get to the window. And the audacity of this woman! She handed me the tiniest fucking cup. I asked her uhm I ordered a medium. AND SHE SAID “we can’t serve you that size because it’s illegal”. The fuck!! She out her damn mind! I informed her that I am a barista and have never heard of such things. She was like every Starbucks I go to never lets me order espresso in my nitro. Well bitch head on over to my store. All day everyday.

Our dark roast drip has more caffeine in a venti than a grande nitro and you can add shots to your drip coffee (aka red/black eye) so like who ever told her that doesn’t know their shit.

Here’s the $1 of anyone wants to take a look grand nitro has 200 mg caffeine and a venti pike has 340 our shot have 75, so if you get a vent dark with two shots that’s like 490 mg and it’s “illegal” to sell the nitro w/ shot that has 275?

She said it was the amount of caffeine is in the nitro plus the two shots. Like ma’am, if I wanted a nitro with quad shots, I could do it. Let me live and die. K thanks

When nitro was first put in across all stores in the US including mine I was told I wasn't allowed to put shots in Nitro for caffeine reasons (later that turned out to be a bad rumor). I can see where she got that info, honestly Starbucks needs to do a nitro training because of how much bad info baristas are spitting out. Get us all on the same page.
