i hope you know that i will go home from my shift tonight and cry because you negatively called out a very special part about me. i’m so sorry you didn’t get the bogo coupon in your email and i’m sorry you think i run the starbucks instagram. i am a human with feelings that you have hurt deeply.

i’m sure your name is gorgeous. i’m so sorry this customer decided to take a personal dig at you for absolutely no reason. please keep your head up and know that you have many regulars that are proud of the hard work you do.

i’m very sorry this happened to you. water off a duck’s back. that person’s mean comment doesn’t matter- clearly they’re not a nice person. people are assholes over a few dollars and people are assholes over coffee. unfortunately it’s part of the job but try your best to brush it off.

i find that laughing at customers like that helps. right in their face. they don’t expect you to laugh at an insult.. it throws them off. so funny.
