i’m very sorry this happened to you. water off a duck’s back. that person’s mean comment doesn’t matter- clearly they’re not a nice person. people are assholes over a few dollars and people are assholes over coffee. unfortunately it’s part of the job but try your best to brush it off.
i find that laughing at customers like that helps. right in their face. they don’t expect you to laugh at an insult.. it throws them off. so funny.
