I’ve met with my DM before to discuss my promotion and she made me do a coffee tasting which I only had a like less than 2 days to prepare for.
Now I’ll be meeting with her again for a formal “interview” or whatever and she wants me to do another coffee tasting.
Honestly, I’m not quite comfortable doing in person coffee tastings right now with someone who is outside of my circle and is constantly going to different stores.
Why is Starbucks even allowing in person coffee tastings right now?
I don’t know if I’m overreacting but I feel like I shouldn’t have to risk catching covid just because she wants me to do another one (this would be my 3rd coffee tasting with her since the beginning of the year).
It just seems unnecessary and like I don’t wanna risk my health (and my family’s health) for it but I also feel the pressure because I’ve wanted to be promoted for over a year now.
Not sure what to do, feeling really over it honestly :(
