I’ve always loved helping others and having teaching moments. I just finished training my first green bean. I had a ton of fun but you also have to know when to step back and return to basics. What you’ve done a million times they are doing for there first. Good luck buddy!!

i’ve recently thought about becoming a barista trainer because my store is desperately looking for them. How was the process of it all? I’m kind of scared i won’t be the good trainer i hope to be

Right now think about how to describe the process of how to steam milk in detail. How to tell when it is aerating by that paper ripping noise. How long to let it aerate for a latte vs a cappuccino. Now think of how to describe sequencing, or everything you do within a cycle on customer support. If you can verbally describe it, you’ll do okay.

True. After I finished all my module training my store manager told me to teach her to steam milk as if she was new.
