I’m tired of customers asking when seating opens(self.starbucksbaristas)

First of all, I don’t know. Second of all, is the pandemic over? No? Then why would we open up seating again? And third, it’s honestly so hard not to say “hopefully not for a while”.

I don’t miss seating being open. I’m glad it’s closed.

I just am tired of getting on people's asses when they come in and unload their entire closet onto the table. Or get mad when i ask them to stand up and they say they're waiting for their drink. I dont think ive had a customer wait more than 5 minutes for their drink, and that's on the busiest days when we're backed up.

I was asked yesterday why our seating was closed. I said "the pandemic". Customer wasnt too happy with that one.

We had a few guys come in and just sit down. None of them even ordered anything. There are signs at every table/chair saying seating is closed yet they still somehow missed it. Someone let them know and instead of leaving they went to the outside dining area which is fine but it’s 30 degrees and raining today. Did they really have no where else to hang out?

I say it. I've also borderline yelled at someone who was wearing a mask improperly and hovering over the bar. I'll probably get fired for it, and I don't care anymore. I haven't seen my grandparents in almost a year, fuck these assholes.

I had a lady yell at me that our google listing still says seating is open, and wouldn’t have it when I suggested that it may be from before covid. But yes, let me hop on google and change it just for you, because I can do that

I’m tired of people asking why we close when we have to close or close early because of a Covid exposure. Like what are they thinking...why would they think we would close 🤨
