You don’t get asked to pick up tips.
A barista does the tips, and it’s up to you to ask where they’re kept or for them to be brought to you (if the tips are kept locked up)

That makes sense. But then again I've only been working with two shifts (block scheduling) and for them to never see me pick up my tips and not say anything is pretty odd.

It’s really not a shift’s responsibility to notice if you’ve picked up tips and then start asking questions about why.

It’s your responsibility to get them and they assume you probably pick them up. My shift is on my ass about getting tips sometimes but for a different reason.

If you’re there at the time/day when tips get portioned out, they will pass them out to everybody. Otherwise they’re locked up and it’s your responsibility to ask for them

Go to the shift on duty and ask for your tips. this isn’t something that is any one else’s responsibility ... it’s on you to gather them.

Just make sure to ask you shift when you work if you have any tips!! They’re kept in the safe usually

Just go ask for them now they have to keep them for a certain amount of time so you didn’t loose out on them yet and now you know! Hopefully it will be a nice surprise when you go grab them!
