Migraines, free caffeine addiction, therapist zoom meetings, pto, medical, Spotify premium, and most importantly losing your soul and free will for slightly above minimum wage.

Also keep in mind the benefits do differ if you are in the United States vs Canada (assuming you are applying in NA) us Canadians don’t get Spotify premium, or the same mental health support. Although we do get headspace. Which to be honest we all used for maybe the first week and not since then.

I’m actually applying in the US! That’s good to know though. I hope others who come across this post will see this! I heard US employees get headspace too but haven’t heard much about it. I’m lucky I already have health coverage so I won’t be relying on starbucks.
If I do get hired, it’s really only going to be a maybe short term job (6ish months) for me because I’ll be starting a course soon that will get me a certification for a better paying job. Until then though, I need some income and (hopefully!) some free coffee! I’d like to keep this (potential) job as a weekend gig though if things work out in my favor!

spotify premium is the best but if u use ur partner numbers on the site “perks at work” you can see a majority of our discounts like adidas, walmart, fanatics, godiva, sketchers, etc. also we get mental health coverage up to 20 sessions from lyra. we also get headspace for free but i know very few partners who actually use that. if you log into fidelity and create an account you start earning stock in the company called ‘bean stock’ that you can cash out after your first year. oh and one free food and drink a day if you’re not working and one free food and unlimited free drinks when you are working.

I heard from someone else on this subreddit a while ago that y’all get free Starbucks tumblers. Or discounted. I’m not sure which. Am wondering if that is true as well?

we get a minimum 30% discount on all merchandise and food and drinks and it depends on the store manager but mine gets a sleeve of red cups during the holidays and the seasonal valentines hot cups, the like $2-3 ones for all partners so we get those for free but i think that moreso depends on the store

That’s so sweet! That’s not a bad discount too! I just remember seeing someone post a video about their Starbucks merch collection and it gets me excited about potentially working there ❤️cross your fingers for me that I get a call soon for an interview!
