I kind of wonder if that’s why we call things chocolate-y and mocha. >> the chocolate cookie crumble tho, hmmmm.

Yes in fact it is they aren’t allowed to call it chocolate which is also why the coffee and chocolate flavoured frapp is called a Java chip because the word chocolate isn’t used there or anywhere on the package for the bar mocha powder or the Java chips.

queequegscoffee [OP]3 points2y ago
Chocolaty with a y it’s not claiming to be chocolate it’s claiming to be chocolate flavoured

Are we really arguing about chocolate? Why is this such a big deal?

Chocolate cookie crumble creme frap though? Or do the cookie crumbles negate the legality of the chocolate thing?
queequegscoffee [OP]1 points2y ago
In Canada we call those mocha cookie crumble frapps
Becquerell1 points2y ago
That’s what we call the coffee version, but the non-coffee version is called the chocolate cookie crumble (in the US at least)
queequegscoffee [OP]1 points2y ago
Yeah we still have the cream based chocolate cookie crumble lol
