I was told today that we can’t put it on hot drinks because it can cause it to curdle (don’t quote me I might be wrong lol) but I don’t know where she got covid from, I think she’s the wrong one here lol

Our old SM told us that, but then our new SM said that if we can put cold whip on, we can put cold foam - it makes sense to me, why would one curdle and not the other? The only difference is the extra milk in the foam (and obviously different proportions).

Lol tell the borrowed partner to do whatever they want at their store (/s). In all seriousness, all the product is coming from the same group of employees, from the same source. Aside from VSCCF being a nuisance to put on hot drinks, I don’t think there should be a problem as it’s a similar concept to putting whip on hot drinks

Why would Covid come into play?

I honestly have no clue, the borrowed partner insisted on doing a grande cup full of VSCCF and when the customer came to pick up she complained to me..

I’ve been told customers if are willing to pay for it we do it.

Same even if it’s annoying I don’t mind.. It even lets you add VSCCF on hot drinks for mobile order so I don’t think there is any regulation on it

I like the vsccf but I hate making it when I’m on bar.

The reason it is GROSS is because putting a cold, mostly liquid milk inside a hot steamed milk drastically changes the temperature of the beverage quickly and puts the milk in the danger zone of making someone sick from food borne illness. Whipped cream is exactly that, whipped! It stays on top of the hot drink and slowly melts, not affecting the temp of the rest of the beverage very much at all. Starbucks is NOT supposed to serve anything to anyone that could make them sick, whether they know it or not. If they want cold foam on their hot drink, they can make it at home and have diarrhea for the rest of their lives for all I care.

Yeah I don’t think there’s an issue, but you should be able to find it on the hub if it’s an actual thing
