I’m that dreaded customer that gets a trenta strawberry açaí w/ lemonade. I get it standard but I’m sure y’all have seen everything and try out new things all the time.
How would you improve the refresher w/o pissing off my barista? I’m not looking for anything too crazy, just improvements

Ya inclusions are definitely the most annoying part when making it and they’re purely for aesthetics anyway so if you’re wanting to change something this would be it

Well it depends on what you're actually looking for. You looking to sweeten it up? Raspberry or classic is a pretty good choice. If you're looking for a different flavor altogether, maybe adding in the peach or guava (whichever tickles your fancy).
Honestly, I don't really care what you get, as long as you're not rude about it and try to tell me how to do my job. If it's legit wrong and tastes like a foot, alright. I'll accept that. We all make mistakes. We're human.
It's the snooty girls that come in, demand their drink, and then demand a remake when whatever tiktok drink they decided to try was nasty, that really gets me.
As long as you're polite and understand that we're just trying to get you the drink you order, even if it's wrong, you should be fine.
(If you're worried about the peach or guava, we have to make the peach green tea lemonade, and guava black tea lemonade. It's the same, just swapping out the base.)

I really love the strawberry acai with passion tango tea :) it's great with or without lemonade and adds a totally different twist to the flavor while still being complementary

Skip the inclusions. That’s the most annoying part. They don’t do anything for the taste, they’re just there to make it look pretty.
Also, my fellow barista friends hate making it like this, but I get my strawberry refresher with apple juice and a splash of lemonade and no inclusions. You wouldn’t think it would taste good, but it tastes 10 times better than any other version of the strawberry refresher!

i had a mini strawberry shoot up through my straw (before we got sip lids) and get lodged in my throat while drinking a refresher 😭 no more berries in my refresher after that

I usually ask for it with half the amount of lemonade and add water. And no strawberries. It’s really good but I get it with water because it’s to sweet sometimes and when I had my gallbladder it couldn’t handle without some water in there.

i’ve had customers get the strawberry acai with water and then add vanilla or white mocha, and i’ve tried both and they’re pretty good if you want to make the flavor a little more complex? it’s also especially good if you add vanilla in a pink drink.

wtf white mocha in a refresher? 🤦🏻♀️ this reminds me of people getting sugar packets in iced drinks that aren’t shaken - it just settles even if you try to swirl the cup or mix it in somehow ... shame

Currently Stawberry with Mango Dragonfruit with the DF inclusions is popular at my store. It's pretty tasty
