one time i forgot to put ice in a frappuccino and they were watching me make their drinks and i just had to shamefully walk to the cold bar ice and reblend it 😢😢 THEY WERE A COWORKER

When I was a green bean I forgot to steam the milk for an order. Thankfully the woman came in and was super nice about it!

This was my first month in and I barley got bar time as I was hired as a outside SSV and I was moved to a DT to assist. So I made this frappe that had vanilla bean powder. Let’s just say I fucked up so bad I manage to put cloud powder and the wrong base lol.

i didn’t know that you had to empty the whipped cream can before you take the top off and i sprayed my shift and every clean dish with whipped cream 😌

i blended two frappuccinos without the lid on the blender when i was a green bean.. mess every where and it was during peak so i had a shit ton of angry customers

I have moments where I just do dumb things that I know I probably shouldn't do, but do it anyway because my brain isn't working properly at the time 🤦🏽‍♀️
I put some lemon loafs under the oven to thaw them a bit more. The center was still kind of cold. I put them on the tray first, but for some reason decided to put them under the ovens. I forgot they were there, of course, and went to do other things since me and another barista switched positions. She probably thought I was a dumbass, but I didn't plan on leaving them under there for that long. The icing melted and I'm assuming she threw them away 😭
I also put a container under the faucet and forgot it was filling with water because I was on ovens and trying to multitask (there's no such thing). The whole counter got wet and part of the floor. I just decided to clean my mess, sweep, and mopped the entire floor. 🙃

I dropped a full urn of fresh pike in the morning... Hot coffee splashed all over me and two other partners...one had to go home and change...not to mention the urn completely broke so we’ve been down one for weeks thanks to me 🤡

so i have 2 different stories, when i was about a month or 2 in, i got told to make a full batch of pike so i’m like ok that’s easy THE THING EXPLODES so an older parter comes over there gets burnt and i was already messing everything else up that day so i’m crying.. on the floor.. trying to clean the mess up and i’m burning myself and trying not to make it look like i was crying it was AWFUL. my other story, i have never had proper training period but especially on bar. i had to learn everything on my own and i was still pretty new to bar and someone wanted a hot matcha latte so i steamed the milk w the matcha and put shots in because i saw latte and just assumed.. that customer was MAD and i had to explain to him that i was still new on bar and apologized and remade it and he didn’t say anything. just gave me a dirty look and walked out

I dropped a jug of heavy cream in the back and it broke. Leaked under the fridge and everything.
