Does anyone know what vaccine group Baristas are considered? I had initially thought we were group 4 (I’m in NC) but apparently we may be group 3 considering my governor just approved group 3 to get vaccinated.

I’m on the west coast so I can’t answer for NC but here we’re considered food and agriculture/critical infrastructure so see if you can find out what group that label puts you in? Good luck, I hope you get it soon! :)

Every city and state is a bit different, so your city may be faster or slower than the whole state, and honestly some of these things feel like you need a lawyer there to help you decipher which category you should be in.

What I could figure out on the state health department website is that you can fill out a form with your information and they'll contact you to schedule an appointment when you're eligible. You can also contact local pharmacies and hospitals which may be able to get to you sooner.

hey! in nc too. from what i’ve seen, we should be able to get it! i did the “get a text when you’re group is available” thing that’s on the states vaccine website and after doing the questionnaire, it put me in group 3. i can link it if you want me to.
