Cold brew syrup pumps (self.starbucksbaristas)

Help! I’m a new barista and I trained on Cold bar yesterday and I’m so confused with the cold brews. How many pumps of syrup do the different kinds of cold brews get? (Salted caramel, vsccb, honey almond milk cb, etc)

it shows you on the register. sometimes if it’s slow i’ll have someone type the drink in and just tell me

All the specialty cold brew drinks get 1/2/3/4 full-dose pumps or 3/4/6/7 half-dose pumps. Right now that includes the salted caramel, VSSCB, honey almond, and Irish cream. Same for all the nitro versions except the nitro with sweet cream, which doesn't get any syrup. (Of course nitro is tall/grande only.)
If a customer requests syrup in a regular cold brew, default is 3/4/6/7 full-dose pumps. Default for nitro is 1 pump for tall, 2 for grande.
You can check all this info on the store iPad while you're at work! Go to the store resources app, then click on core beverage recipes. $1 also has a very handy cheat sheet for a few things.

I've seen different things on this sub, but what I was taught in training was that cold brews get one less than the standard pumps for their size, so that would be 2 for a tall, 3 for a grande, 5 for a venti.

It’s 3/4/6/7 full-dose pumps in regular cold brew just like all other drinks. Nitro is different, believe it’s 1/2 full-dose pumps. Specialty cold brew drinks get 3/4/6/7 half-dose pumps (ie. Irish cream, salted caramel cold foam, vanilla sweet cream, honey almond—except you’d probably have a full-dose pump on honey blend so just do half). Nitro w/sc doesn’t get any pumps.

Thanks! If this is the way then I am very confused as to why we have a full dose pump on our Irish cream syrup though.

Nope, salted caramel cold brew only gets 1/2/3/4 full-dose pumps (or 3/4/6/7 half-dose pumps), just like the other specialty menu beverages.
