I really think there should be a standardized cheat sheet for every station to improve consistency and make training WAY EASIER. I proposed making some and laminating them and hanging them myself off the clock and was told it would be shot down by our DM?
Also, partners argue with each other about recipes and some supervisors and managers will straight-up force you to make it the way they think it's made. It creates unnecessary tension sometimes.

At my store the frappe station has a routine sticker with the number of pumps and everything (just not specific recipes)

Not serving nitro in a venti isn't because of caffeine content. It's because of beverage quality. It'd go flat before someone could feasibly finish it. We serve a lot higher caffeine content in other beverages.

I really hate to do this but actually, it is because of caffeine content. Due to the nitrogen in the drink being infused with our cold brew aka caffeine. The amount of caffeine the drinks contain will hit you instantly. AS opposed to the delayed reaction of standard caffeine or cold brew due to digestive system. This is what makes it to where we cannot serve a venti, because if somebody were to drink the whole thing the might possibly have a heart attack because it is technically too much caffeine for the body to recieve instantly( I say technically because we are all caffeine addicts and there is no way a barista wouldn't be able to take that much caffeine unless they aren't a coffee drinker; rant done). Also, sorry just wanted to make sure veryone knows...

i've heard its because of the fact it's with no ice, i've heard it's because the nitro makes your system absorbs caffeine faster, i've heard its for beverage quality, i wish starbucks would actually tell us omg why are there so many answers to this question

Just getting a Venti blonde roast is 475 mg. A Grande nitro is 280 mg so if you do the math per ounce, a Venti nitro would be 420 mg (24 ounces). And also of course people get multiple espresso shots all the time. I have a regular that gets 8 shots. So this rumor that we don't serve Venti nitro because of the caffeine content is silly because then we would turn people away anytime they ordered more than 5 shots.

The way it was explained to me is because the nitrogen causes the caffeine to enter your system faster and so the amount of caffeine that would be hitting your system at a fast rate could be really bad for you. That’s just what I was told and I could be wrong, but I think it makes sense.

I think it has to do with the nitrogen rather than the caffeine content. I generally try to just say “We are unable to sell the Nitro as a venti. The largest that I can do is Grande. Is that OK?” Usually it is.

yes, they are releasing 1/2 pump and full pump tops soon for CB and HB respectively

nitro is only served in tall & grande because of the pressurized air. in larger amounts its not good for you
