You will feel overwhelmed but that’s ok!!! There’s so much to remember and learn and don’t be afraid to ask for help, you won’t be annoying everyone. I had a manager that said it takes most people 6+ months to be comfortable on bar so don’t feel like you’re not good enough, even if you’re a couple months in. You’ve got this!

ask TONS of questions!! from my experience, your coworkers would much rather take 10 seconds to answer a question and make sure you do something correctly than take 10 minutes to redo something or fix a mistake if you don’t ask questions and end up doing things wrong. i’ve been at starbucks for 6 months and i still ask at least one or two questions a shift. this goes for bar especially! it’s super fun but definitely stressful and no one expects you to remember all the drinks perfectly for quite some time (or really ever...even my shift supervisors and manager have to look up drink recipes sometimes haha).
also, let the happy moments really sink in!! there will be times when customers are mean to you, or you have to do a position/task you don’t want to do, or you just have a bad shift - but there will also be times when you have really uplifting customer connections, or you realize you’re becoming friends with your coworkers, or you make a beautiful frappuccino that you’re proud of. hold onto those moments and find things about the job that you genuinely like! it’ll make it so much easier :) you got this!!! good luck!!

Don't let the training process get you down. We've all been in your place at one point.
Also, I don't know how much you've lurked on the barista subreddits, but don't let the customer get you down. You have done the best you possibly can and that's all that matters. We all have bad days with particularly nasty customers, but they turn into fun stories later on and they've given themselves some silly nickname based on the situation. I've had a customer we all knew as the agave lady, for example.

Yes the bar especially will feel overwhelming. Just take breaths and focus on each thing you do. Take your time. You’ll feel like you’re terrible at it at first. That’s normal. It isn’t true though, as the other person said it takes 6 months to get a good groove. I never worked at a Starbucks with a drive thru (thank god) so can’t help you there! But do enjoy the register and make sure you learn how to close properly too. It’s important.

Bring a small notebook to work and take notes; that’s what I did and it really helped. There’s no way you can memorize everything, so writing things down and reviewing them later really helped me a lot. Looking up resources here is good too. Even the starbucks mobile app will tell you all the recipes for the drinks
