Sticker printer hasn't been working for over a week. Anyone else? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Started last week, still going even now. Everyone has had to remember how to write on cups, we've stopped uber orders and the cs person is constantly refreshing the order screen to write down mobiles. Its pure hell and they keep trying different fixes that don't work. Reset system. Remote in. Replace printers. Nothing. I'm beginning to feel like ill be stuck trying to distinguish between CH and CM forever. Whatever nostalgia I had for cup writing is destroyed.

I work at a Tarbucks and writing on cups can be a pain, especially with all the modifications some people want. I feel you.

The codes for some drinks are ridiculous too. 2 or 3 letters i get, but VSCCB?? Get out. Doesn't help that multiple till partners forget that the till tells you the code so they just write whatever...

You never had to deal with the codes for the dark cocoa almond milk cold foam cold brew or the cinnamon almond milk cold foam cold brew.
You're lucky your till tells you! Mine doesn't. You're SOL if you forget a code. Also, the handwriting. Deal lord the handwriting can be awful. I know from experience. I have terrible handwriting lol! I feel bad for my baristas on bar most days lol.

The store I was at before where I am not used to not have a sticker machine so I got used to reading and writing on cups and even after we got it, nobody set it up so we were still writing on cups for some time after we actually got it.
This nonprofit website is run by volunteers.
