Thank you! I wear it on the neckstrap right where it meets the body of the apron. It’s still very much displayed in the spot someone would look for a nametag so my manager has no problem with me wearing it there :)

thanks! As far as paint pens go, I actually am not a fan of the ones I used for the great wave :( they weren’t exceptionally easy to work with, had a hard time drying, and came off pretty thin. I don’t have the case they came in anymore and the pens themselves just say “acrylic paint marker”. I opted for straight up acrylic paints of various brands for the rest. For chalk markers though, if you were looking to do a reusable nametag, I recently bought the reasonably priced Chalkola pastel chalk markers and they are fantastic! I’ve used them on the blackboard at my store and the pigment and blending is great, far better than the Starbucks pick imo!

As far as official policy on nametags, I am pretty sure Starbucks actually ENCOURAGES creativity and self expression on the chalkboard nametags! As far as I know, the rule is just that your name needs to be clear and legible, and how creative you are in making that happen is up to you.
