My pet peeve is when they place an order and then come in 5 seconds later expecting it to be done.

every fricken time. they’ll say “i just placed it” and now i always respond “well since you just placed it, it’ll take a few minutes, but pull on up.” they have no shame

I always ask what the name on the order is. Too many people give me their own name even though they ordered from their spouse/parent/friend's account.
