Texas baristas, have y'all been running out of sandwiches constantly since the snow storm? Got yelled at by a customer yesterday because of it, and wanted to check if this was a Texas wide issue or just my district?

I’m in AZ and we have been having shortages on all kinds of things because our distribution center is in Texas. Weirdly enough I haven’t encouraged any outraged customers, I would think people in Texas who experience the storm would be more understanding :/

one would think, but he couldn't quite comprehend that it was due to the storm, despite me telling him about 5 times. He just kept telling us to order more sandwiches.

That sucks I hate people like that. I hope things start getting better soon, I know it’s definitely frustrating to be out of so much stock.

I’m an OK barista as well. We have gotten maybe 5 paninis in our past few trucks. We have been telling people why we don’t have any and most have been understanding. There have been a few, though.

It’s the entire region. The winter storm damaged the manufacturing/distribution center for all of the Starbucks in this part of the US.

I think it's nationwide. It's the same up in Minnesota.

Western NY college campus, we are constantly out of food these days 4 hours before close... I'm thinking it might be because the other dining options on campus might suck, but we didn't have grilled cheese or chix caprese for like 2 weeks straight from distribution
