so i haven't really been told in much detail what's going on with baristas getting the vaccine but we are supposed to get 2 hrs of pay for each vaccine dose correct? if so, how do i show proof of being vaccinated and how does that ensure i get paid? im also unsure if i am eligible. my state is in phase 1c which includes "additional critical workers." i have read that restaurant/foodservice workers are considered "other essential workers" so i assume this is the same thing and that i could be eligible now? how do i know for sure? sorry for all the questions, just never had to do anything like this and my manager really hasn't communicated what starbucks is doing regarding getting vaccinations

as far as i remember since it was in the weekly update a few weeks ago, you don't need to show proof that you got the vaccination.. you just have to let your manager know when your getting it so they can approve it (like i said not 100% positive but thats what i remember). it depends on what state you live in, im not eligible until may in my state because they're doing it by age. your best bet is to google covid vaccination eligibility in your state and that should give you an idea of when your eligible! good luck :)

thanks for the reply. yes it would seem after some searching that i dont need proof. but apparently some places give you a vaccination card after getting the doses? im still a little confused on if im eligible in my state (i live in al) but i guess i'll find out if i try to set up an appointment!

I know they added a bunch of info to the Covid tab on the hub (somewhere on the right of the screen). But I haven't read it yet.

thanks! after a ton of digging i found a pdf explaining most of what i was concerned about. now im just stuck on what my state considers eligible for the phase we're in 🤔
