I'm honestly baffled by the way customers act and it's not like we can call them out on any stupidity

this is like the customer that comes in and asks me for a tall in a grande. a tall in a grande WHAT?

We are pretty much next door to a McDonald’s and the amount of times I’ve gotten someone being like “hey can we get a mcmuffin and a frappe”


We also occasionally only get to the “hi thanks for choosing Starbucks” before someone is like “wait this is Starbucks?”

Let’s just hope they are new to Starbucks ways. I know I talk to many ppl who don’t frequent SB often. And they are actually uncomfortable or nervous to order off the menu. It’s intimidating for many ppl

Or they are suggested a drink by their friend and forget how to order it later.

I can only imagine how annoying it if for you all tho. Especially with the shit being blasted at you with covid and TicTok - so when you’re busy trying to keep a good flow and ppl don’t know how to order or fuck with you all, I can understand the frustration.

That's when I hit em with, "I'm sorry, but we don't carry milkshakes." I no longer have patience to figure out someone else's order for them. I only get paid so much buddy.

I had a customer who would come through every day and say different variations of a caramel frappuccino. first week it was “caramel milkshake” and then “caramel slushie,” then finally he started saying “blended caramel.” a little better lol but hoping it gets to caramel frap.
