Today miss girl comes through and orders two “salted caramel mochas w no mocha, coconut milk, extra caramel drizzle, and vanilla sweet cream cold phomey” and so im like “hey girly pop we don’t actually have that on the menu rn, but the way i would usually type in a salted caramel mocha would be the mocha, toffee nut, and carm drizzy, it would be cheaper if i rung it in as a toffee nut latte (saves her 0.60 which on two drinks is over a dollar). so i give her her total (it’s about $14 - $7ish for each drink)

okay home girl gets up here and says “why is each sri j 7 dollars? i thought YOU told me it would be cheaper to ring it in without the mocha (yes bc it is?!)? so i read to her each individual charge: a latter w toffee nut (0.50), carm driz (0.60), coconut milk (0.70), and the fucjing FOAM (1.00) all on top of the bass price of a grande latte. so i tell her that if i ring it in as MOCHA w the added toffee nut, driz, alt milk, and foam it would be 0.60 MORE. so i literally type it all out so that she can see this and waste my time and guess what? i was right? it’s like i work there or something 😳. so then she’s like “give me my receipt” so i give her god damn receipt and she’s like “i don’t get why it’s so expensive” ... girl. i just ducking told u. like idk what to say hunny. and i’m like “i mean... we did just have a price raise a few days ago 🥸” miss girl says “oh okay!” and drives off “thanks! have a great day!” WHAT THE FUCK I HATE CUSTOMER SERVICE AOMETIMES
