Stores to buy summer clothes for work? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by canidieyet_
It’s getting too warm for me to wear my beloved sweaters, and I own like 3 total shirts that are in dress code and I’m not doing laundry every day. It’s super annoying because I dress extremely simple and nowadays companies make clothes that are loud and tight. And I’m not spending $20 on a plain colored t-shirt. I try so many stores and either I can’t find a right fit or literally nothing is dress code approved, so I’m just at a loss. Please recommend stores to buy clothes that aren’t outrageously expensive and generally comfortable

I shop at my local thrift stores for my work clothes. Some of them have days where all clothing is discounted because they are trying to rotate product. Some of my most favorite pieces come from thrift stores! And I never spend more than $30 but come out with 8-10 items!

Forever 21, old navy and H&M have relatively cheap shirts if you’re looking for plain v necks or crew necks.

I would definitely suggest H&M. Go to the men’s section they have tons of plain colored t shirts that should fit dress code for pretty cheap. Like $8 or so iirc

I just bought three plain kind of flowy tshirts from Walmart for $8 each. I got one black, one grey, and one black with white stripes

Getting airy pants is a good call too. Depends on how strict the dress code is at your particular store but at mine a lot of ppl wear activewear joggers, old navy has some nice ones and walmart too.
