for the love of all that is holy... can someone please tell me what my mother needs to put in on her app to get a pup cup ordered through mobile??

You can’t order pup cups or cups of water on the app 😔 just come in or go through the drive thru and say you’d also like a pup cup with your mobile :)

Starbucks doesn’t sell drink components so it’s something she’d have to order at pickup if she’s ordering drinks as well. If she just wants a pup cup and nothing else I would suggest buying whipped cream from a grocery store.

Also we aren’t supposed to be giving out samples... so technically we aren’t supposed to give out pup cups right now... but just ask for it at pickup and try to incorporate a wait time for the extras

no she goes, but she had wanted it to be ready when she did mobile and not have to bother them for it when she got there and interrupt what they were doing.

The least disruptive way to do this is to go through drive thru and ask for the pup cup at the order box when you tell them your name and that you're picking up a mobile

Another option is to place a mobile order and then call the store, let them know the name, and the order and ask to add the pup cup to it.

At my store this would definitely be less convenient than just asking when you pick it up. Because we rarely have someone who is readily available to answer the phone. Plus once they do, they then have to disrupt cafe bar to find the drink and likely it would be deflated/lost before that person got there.

I completely agree I’d rather be asked while they are standing at hand off than called on the phone but it seemed like they wanted a different option.

The best way to do this is to edit the name on her app! Go to the user profile in the top right, click Personal Info and you should be able to edit the name there! (Note: FIRST name box only, last names don't print on cups!)

"FirstName pup cup please" is an easy one we'd understand immediately! We get a ton of "Jack double cup," "Jessie venti water," "Alice straw please" etc.!

We have a regular that has changed their NAME on the app to say “Andrea Nitro Lid” don’t know why you couldn’t use “Karen add a Pupcup”

so as others have said, there's no technical way to order one through the app! however, we have a couple of customers that will add "venti water" to the name - your mom could do the same with the pup cup. so if her name is nicole, then her mobile order name would read "nicole pup cup." hopefully the baristas will figure it out!

Yeah this! We have a few that do like "Jack double cup," "Jill trenta water please," "Maggie straw please," etc.! I'm on mobile bar very often and it makes my life so much easier when customers do this!

YES it's such a good idea tbh!!! i never mobile order bc... while why would i when i'm there for work all the time??? but if i did i would probably do something like that.

Dying dog, nope. Not a bad owner. But we have people coming by on the almost daily. Dogs digestive systems are not made to digest dairy after their nursing days. (Or be on a vegan diet-but that's another can of worms)
My shift knows I won't make them if they come up when I'm on bar.

But you're entitled to think I'm ridiculous.😊
