I always work mid to close and my SM only focuses on opening and we never have enough people from like 1pm-close. Busiest DT store in the district and she’s only recently catching on to the fact that we need more than 3 closers.

For the most part, it’s what you have to do so it’s a good transition for the closers. To do stuff like bars and anything extra is great! Because when mid shift leaves they leave on time, while closing it’s not consistently like that.

I just got shoved to mid shifts, after being an opener for years and I really needed this! I feel like I’m the only shift in the store who feels alone :(
