I feel like a lot of my coworkers take everything i say and do very... politically? like i can’t get a haircut or ask one of my coworkers for help without another coworker getting upset about it and i’m not sure what to do, i feel like my life outside of work really shouldn’t concern people. it comes up fairly frequently and i really just wanna be friends w everyone, but people just seem to get upset easily w me
also i’m in college w a double major and i work ~25 hours so my life is already kinda stressful, so coworkers adding an additional burden is just hard

If someone is going to project imaginary ulterior motives into you, there's not really much you can do about it. Just keep doing the best you can, and let them be mad.
