Sit down with manager and dm (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by warmcheesedanish
What should I expect? I reported my store manager to my DM, sent her everything that my store manager did during a shift that made me anxious, stressed, and cry. So after reporting my manager, the manager then tried to talk to me about what happened that day, blaming it all on me, but I told him I am not talking to him about this alone with him because he is not willing to listen. I requested for my DM to be there because she is aware of what happened. I put in a transfer paper after reporting my manager. He for some reason thinks that I am scared of sitting down with both of them. I’m not. I just want my transfer. I no longer want to work with my manager. I already found a store. What’s the point of this sit down still happening? What should I expect? At any point If the well covered up gaslighting continues am I allowed to say I no longer want to speak to both of them?

If it continues call partner resources.

They likely already know. DMs and PRMs communicate about manager complaints, and it would prob be the PRM who would do the on the ground work. Expect everything said to PCC/DM/E&C to be shared bc Starbucks has no confidentially within management

Yes it does. You can keep it anonymous.

No it doesn't, and I have had regional management confirm this (a RD and the regional director of partner resources). PCC always sends to the DM and PRM together

Classic Starbucks retaliation. Document everything. Take notes. Don't sign shit they give you. Talk with your coworkers so you got each other's backs
