Sometimes I just don’t want to talk to people but if I made a friend with a customer or a partner at another store comes through we catch up and chat. One guys dog has become my buddy and I like one of the regulars most of the people in my strike can’t stand. Told her about the guy I like and she got excited.

260 partner here. My last day is tomorrow... yall. We get paid barely above min wage yet corporate keeps asking us to do more while not raising our pay. IN FACT... REDUCING OUR HOURS DURING A FREAKING PANDEMIC. And then have the balls to tell us to increase our drive thru times. Yall... there are so many jobs that pay more with less work. And as I write this I cringe because being a barista is amazing to me... but stand up to our bullshit ceo. Who cares about nothing more than his bonus at the end of the quarter and sees us as nothing but numbers.
To ceo: increase our pay or staff us enough to deal with the numbers YOU are pulling in... this is why so many long time batistas are leaving right now.

And I'm sorry to the gm's and shifts who are giving your all. Honestly if you've made it to that position you have a fantastic work ethic and I respect you. But you should be paid way more than what you are for the stress of this job... you are supposed to increase your numbers but corporate IS NOT BACKING YOU UP... they just want more productivity, while increasing prices, while decreasing hours. Fuck that.
