I hate customers (sorry in advance to those that don’t believe in profanity - I tried my best) (self.starbucksbaristas)

I won’t go into the specifics here because I know some of my coworkers are on here. I can’t even say that Starbucks customers are the worst customers ever because this is not the worst food service job I’ve had due to customers. The customers that came in today, however, really made me just hate my job. I do not get paid enough to deal with the shit I deal with with some of these customers. Additionally, some of the reactions over the dumbest things are just ridiculous. I mean, if we’re out of the thing you want, get something else or find another Starbucks especially if you’re in a location with TONS of Starbucks locations. If you can’t sit in the store and you’re upset about it, GROW THE FUCK UP! Don’t yell at your barista about a decision that is very obviously not theirs when literally every Starbucks in the area has that same rule. We’ve been in a pandemic for a year now. You know you have to wear a mask, so stop acting so surprised and inconvenienced when you get told to wear a mask in store even though you saw the giant sign on the door that you had to wear one. I’m so fed up.

I mean really. It’s a mask. They can suck it up or fuck off.

They’re definitely exhausting. We were so understaffed we had to shut down our lobby and turn off mobiles however, this lady mobile ordered and still got into our massive drive thru line to pick it up. Yelled at us at the window for an extra ten minutes for personally making her late to work instead of taking her drink and leaving.
Another day we had another lady spend her time in our lobby yelling at any barista within ear shot that she wanted to work inside while our lobby was closed, everyone said no. She threw a tantrum and ended up working outside. People really love to do the most.

It gets on my absolute nerve when they say "sorry I forgot" when you ask them to put on a mask, or just blatantly ignore you when you try to offer them one. IT'S BEEN A YEAR OF THIS
